Tuan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Rehabilitation and a minor in Psychology from UMass Amherst. He has more than 20 years of coaching and personal training experience in a variety of sports, offering current scientific training techniques combined with real-world application, and creating personalized programs for each individual client.
Tuan strives to treat all clients with the same level of respect, care, and attention, whether they are fitness gurus themselves or just starting a new program. His enthusiasm as a coach allows him to help clients work through difficult times and celebrate their success each step of the way.
Certifications include ACSM Personal Trainer, Functional Movement Specialist, and a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Born and raised in the Berkshires, Chrissy played D1 Softball at St. John’s University, and since then has spent her entire career caring for clients of diverse backgrounds.
Chrissy’s breadth of experience includes working with the community as Director of Clinical Nutrition at Community Health Programs where she realized passions for preventive health care, size-inclusive nutritional education, and food insecurity solutions; sharing her knowledge as a speaker at small events and large conferences across the country; offering integrative health, whole person wellness and fitness services at Canyon Ranch of the Berkshires; and, what she claims to be some of her most rewarding experiences to date, being Lead Nutritionist at Mountainside Holistic Treatment Center and coaching varsity level / U8 softball. Whether it is a compassionate discussion on well-being or a “good ole sweat sesh”, Chrissy prides herself on carrying the intuition to know exactly what any given individual needs daily.
Stephanie Ambrose has been a personal trainer and instructor in the Berkshires for over 23 years. She has taught a variety of classes including Spinning, strength, core, TRX, circuit , aquatics and mobility. She enjoys training clients of all ages and has worked with high school athletes in preparation for their season. She also has experience with the following demographics, Parkinsons disease, osteoarthritis, joint replacements, daily function, lack of mobility and postural concerns. To complement her certification in Human Movement, Stephanie has a yoga certification.
Originally, Stephanie was a research associate in immunology, but sought work in a new field after relocating to the Berkshires. Inspired by her extensive personal experience in triathlons, running, and biking she discovered personal training and overall fitness. Stephanie enjoys sharing her lifelong passion for health and wellness and she is excited to help others discover movement in many forms keep it extremely fun!
Stephanie spends her free time enjoying the outdoors. She loves to kayak, hike, bike ,cross country ski and has recently added pickleball into the mix. She also enjoys traveling and has hiked in Spain, Italy, Ireland, Peru, France, Canada and Costa Rica. When not abroad she enjoys hiking and exploring the National Parks. In addition to her work in fitness, Stephanie is also a MIAA certified high school coach. She is currently the Pittsfield girls Track and Field head coach and was also the head coach for Taconic/Pittsfield high school cross country ski team. Stephanie has participated in and served on the Josh Billings Triathlon committee for over 23 years.
Luana began her professional career at the age of 14 in Brazil. A native of São Paulo, she has been exposed to a mixed culture of Break Dance, Samba, Capoeira and Classic Ballet which has inspired her dance philosophy and style in various ways.
She has performed throughout Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, USA, Mexico, Israel, Russia, Turkey, South Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Romania, Armenia, and Georgia. Most recently, she has returned from her first South America tour with Zumba events in Colombia, Peru, Chile and Brazil!
Luana is also a certified Personal Trainer from CONI (Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano).
“It is immensely rewarding to help others achieve a happy and healthy lifestyle,” she says.
Cara fell in love with Zumba during her first class in 2011. Realizing she couldn’t get enough, she soon took the training required to earn her teaching certificate. Building on her knowledge of competitive dance, aerobics and cheerleading she began teaching Zumba classes at Syracuse University in 2013.
Cara moved to the area last year to continue her professional career, and after touring Bousquet Sport, she knew that she’d found a special place to teach again.
In addition to Zumba, she also enjoys boxing, strength training, and tennis.
Over the years, Norma held various marketing and sales director positions with wellness resorts such as Canyon Ranch and Cranwell Resort, Spa + Golf Club. It was this environment that taught her the importance and benefits of leading a balanced life of fitness and nutrition. She began to pursue wellness both in work and in her personal life, which led her to become a certified group fitness instructor. Norma taught classes at Cranwell Resort, Berkshire Nautilus, and Berkshire Fitness + Wellness before joining the Bousquet Sport team. Her classes include Step Aerobics, Cardio Kickboxing, and Body Sculpting.
Credentials: Group Exercise Certification with FiTOUR, a leader in providing nationally recognized health + fitness professional certifications.
Marianna Poutasse has been teaching Spinning classes here for nineteen years. Back in 2002, as a new mother and recently returned resident of the Berkshires, she came to the gym determined to carve out some time for herself and her fitness goals. After her first time on the bike, she was hooked, and has now been teaching ever since.
A seasoned instructor, Marianna is known for high energy classes that mix classic tunes with more modern beats and alt hits. She is a big believer that the right playlist is a key ingredient to a successful workout!
Off the bike, she works as a residential interior designer at Alberti Design Studio, with offices in Providence, Rhode Island, and the Berkshires. In her spare time, she enjoys Sunday runs with friends, hiking with her dogs, yoga, and cooking and entertaining friends at home with her husband, Eric.
Lynn has been practicing yoga for 17 years and is certified in YogaFit, which includes instruction of adults, children, warriors and seniors.
She currently offers three Yoga classes per week here at Bousquet Sport: Wednesdays + Thursdays at 11AM, as well as Saturdays at noon. Additionally, she holds a virtual class on Fridays at 5:30PM through her long-standing association with Berkshire Fitness and Wellness in Pittsfield.
Lynn has a Brown Belt in Vadha Kung Fu, has been certified in Pilates, and has dabbled in Classical Ballet, just for fun – though she now exclusively practices the gentle art of Yoga.
Outside of yoga and fitness, Lynn has accumulated over 30 years of experience as a fundraising consultant, working with nonprofits nationwide to advise and direct their development efforts through the services of her virtual firm, Terelle & Graham Consulting.
Some of her more personal passions and pastimes include drawing, painting, creative writing, music, and animals of all kinds.
Courtney has been teaching fitness classes for 35 years, and she has been at Bousquet Sport for 22. She has taught everything from water aerobics to step. She is a star level two Spinning instructor and has been teaching Spinning for 15 years.
Dan is a life long Berkshire county resident. He has been a certified exercise specialist for 11 years working at a multitude of locations within the Berkshires as well as New York. While working at each of these locations he has had the opportunity to work with a number of different clients, each with individual exercise capabilities and needs ranging from high school and college athletes to those who just wanted to learn how to use the equipment in a fitness facility and create a program that best served them.
Most recently, while being a husband and father, he attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with a concentration on sports medicine. Dan’s mission is to help you reach your goals, big or small, and help you gain the confidence in yourself and in your fitness capabilities. As he says, “Together we can believe and believing is achieving. Lets get to work.”
Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire. Over the past dozen years he has worked for industry leaders like Canyon Ranch, Equinox NYC, and Miraval. He holds certifications in TRX, Schwinn Cycling, kettlebells, rowing, and yoga, among others. He is currently pursuing a
NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certification.
Josh is also a USA Cycling Coach and the Zwift Race Director for Virginia’s world-ranked Blue Ridge Twenty24 team. He has been a racer himself for almost twenty years. His proudest personal moment was overcoming a DVT and pulmonary embolism, and capping off a successful 2022 season with his eleventh overall team win at The Josh Billings Runaground alongside his Allen Heights Veterinary teammates.
What brings him to life is sharing his knowledge, achievements, and setbacks to help others move towards and reach their goals.
Kerry McGinn is a lover of all things movement, mindfulness and mother nature.
She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Mind Body Coach, and Owner of Live Good, Feel Good: a Physical Therapy & Wellness Company located in Berkshire County, MA.
Kerry truly believes that every single person deserves to feel GOOD in their bodies and wants to help you access that feeling. Through her own healing journey, she has experienced what it is like to be on the other side of the table and to be so unsure of what is happening and where to go next.
Kerry teaches a dynamic, fun, vinyasa style flow that is intelligently designed from start to finish. She weaves her knowledge as a Physical Therapist into a practice that is safe, enjoyable, creative, and smart. She challenges you to stay present in the
sensations of the present moment while enjoying moving your body and connecting deeper to your inner world.
Kerry also loves teaching slower, recovery classes based in somatics, polyvagal theory and deep rest and restoration principles when appropriate.
