CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:

ZUMBA – An aerobic fitness program featuring easy-to-follow dance movements inspired by various styles from around the world.
This class is designed to make you sweat and burn calories in a fun-energetic atmosphere.

YOGA – a spiritual and ascetic discipline, bringing harmony between mind and body. This class has an emphasis on breath, meditation, relaxation, elongation, and belonging for all ages.

STRENGTH + CARDIO – Supersets, drop sets, isometrics, muscle endurance are just a few training styles used for this class to give you the ultimate experience in reaching your fitness goals.

WATER AEROBICS – This cardiovascular class is perfect for anyone at any fitness level! Whether you are rehabilitating from an injury or a fitness guru, this class is guaranteed to give you a full body workout using the power or water!!

HYBRID STEP – Choreographed to high energy music, this step and tone class offers a great cardio and strength workout. Dynamic moves are incorporated to ensure a great calorie burn session.

SCULPTING – A muscle-toning class focused primarily on core and body muscle strength to benefit bone health, tissue health, and to help reduce injury risk.

TABATA – This class will raise your metabolism and heart rate immediately. The exercises you will perform will be at a high intensity causing you to burn more calories not only during class but also, hours after you finish!

LOW IMPACT – Using a combination of mobility, stability, strength and flexibility; the class will improve your asymmetries while
stretching tight muscles and strengthening weak ones.

HIIT SPINNING – This intervals-spinning class will have your body in a constant state of movement and includes bursts of high and low cardio bursts to rev up more calorie burn.  You will learn how to use the spin bike in new ways that will optimize the five S’s: Speed, Strength, Stamina, Sprint, and Skill!

F.I.T. FRIDAYS: Functional Interval Training! Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work or in sports. This combined with interval training, will give you a full body workout guaranteed to challenge any fitness level!

BUTTS + GUTS – This glute and Abdominals class will help sculpt and define your rear and give strength to your core!

ELONGATE AND REJUVENATE – What better way to finish up a butt-kicking workout than to reward your body with a dynamic
recovery to stretch those hard working muscles.

FIT BODY BOOTCAMP –  A perfect blend of circuit training for all ages and fitness levels.  This class targets strength building and muscular endurance with a healthy blend of high intensity cardio intervals, at the same time, giving you the attention you need to do the exercises safely and effectively.

AQUA ZUMBA –  Brings new meaning to the idea of an invigorating workout. It combines the South American Zumba rhythm and dance steps with a pool party. It offers a fun but challenging, water-based, body-toning workout. So, liven up your working week with some Latin fever.

KICKBOXING/SCULPT – A combination of kickboxing/cardio movements and strength training exercises to build muscle and burn fat.

ATHLETIC STRETCH –  is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain using the disciplines that works well for the modern-day athlete. This alternative medicine therapy aims to relax contracted muscles, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex in muscles.

20/20/20 – 20 minutes of cardio / 20 minutes of strength training / 20 minutes of stretching

HIIT FIT – This class will raise your metabolism and heart rate immediately.  The exercises you will be performing will be at a high intensity, your body will have to work harder in order to keep up.  This will cause your heart rate to soar and metabolism jump, which will burn fat not only in the class but hours after you finish!

VIBIN’ VINYASA  It’s a vibe! Vibin’ Vinyasa is a faster-paced, vinyasa-style yoga class accompanied by a non-traditional, modern, music playlist for students to flow, move and groove to. This hour-long (50 minute?) class will allow you to flow rhythmically with the hits you love but may have never expected to hear in a yoga class. Join Maya for an awesome work out connecting your mind, body and breath while busting a move and breaking a sweat!
